Town Hall Meeting with the Minister of Education: Kathleeen Wynne
Attached please find an invitation from the Minister of Education Kathleen Wynne inviting you to a Town Hall meeting in Ottawa on Friday, November 27, 2009. This invitation has been provided to the Directors of Education in the Eastern Region with a request it be provided to Parental Involvement Committees (PIC's) and school council / parent groups within the various school districts.
The purpose of the town hall is to discuss the importance of parent involvement and strategies to get parents more involved in their child's education. Reference the attached flyer for further details. Please share this invitation with your school council members and school community.
